How to Play Bonus Pai Gow Poker

Bonus Pai Gow Poker is played with a pack of 53 cards that includes a joker. This is a game in which luck and chance play a large part. Seven cards are dealt to both the player and the dealer. These cards are separated to create two hands. The two hands form a low hand of two cards and a high hand of five cards. The aim of Bonus Pai Gow Poker is to obtain two hands that are higher than the respective hands of the dealer. It should be noted that the game becomes a tie, if just one of the dealer's hands are beaten.

In order to play the game, first of all a bet is placed. If a Bonus bet is placed at this stage, in the event of a winning combination, a player will then be entitled to a Bonus payout. This amount of such a payout is determined using all the cards in the hand. Once bets have been placed, then cards are dealt and at the press of the play button, the hands will be revealed. If the player has a winning hand, then the payment amount will be shown on the screen, in the Win box.
The game of Pai Gow Poker presents a player with the choice of arranging the two hands or having the cards arranged automatically. See also Detailed Rules for Pai Gow Poker.

  • It should be noted that the value of the high hand must be higher than that of the low hand.
  • The use of a Joker may only be for a Straight, Straight Flush or Royal Flush.
  • A Joker may be used together with an Ace to make a Pair.
  • If no hand can be created out of the cards, the high hand should contain the card with the highest value.
  • In the event that the highest cards of the player and the dealer are of the same value, then the cards with the second highest value will be used.
  • The Dealer wins if the amount in both low hands is the same.
  • The Dealer wins if the amount in both high hands is the same.
  • In the event of a player winning one hand and losing the other, the game is called a Push and the bet is returned.
