What is Roulette Royale?
How to Play Roulette Royale
The goal in a game of Roulette Royale is to guess which number the ball will fall on as it spins on the wheel. After the player places his bet on the table, the dealer releases a small ball on to the spinning wheel (in the opposite direction of the spin). The ball ultimately stops in one of the numbered pockets of the wheel and the player has to predict which one it will falls on. In Roulette Royale, if the same number is hit five times in a row the player wins a progressive jackpot.
In Roulette Royale there is a compulsory side bet, which gives the player the chance to qualify for that progressive jackpot. This side bet is added to the regular bet (on a number or a color, etc). The Roulette Royale progressive jackpot is a constantly accumulating pot and can reach huge proportions. The value of the progressive jackpot is displayed in "credits" not coins.
There are two main types of bets in Roulette Royale. They are called inside bets and outside bets. An inside bet is when the player bets on any roulette number from 0-36 (corresponding to the number on the pockets of the wheel). And outside bet is placed outside the table layout and is placed on colors (red or black) or on combinations of numbers.

Street Bet - You can bet on three numbers by placing a chip on the inner left boundary line of the roulette table that is next to the corresponding row of three numbers. A Street Bet pays 11:1 on your original bet.
Corner Bet - You can bet on four numbers by placing chips at the corner where the four numbers meet. A Corner bet pays 8:1.
Line Bet - essentially a double Street Bet. You can bet on 6 different numbers in two rows of three numbers by placing your chip on the inner left boundary line where the line dividing the two rows intersects it. A Line Bet pays 5:1.
Column Bet - There are three boxes labeled "2 to 1" at the bottom of a column of numbers. You can place bets for all of these numbers by placing your chip in one of these boxes. If any of the numbers in your column is hit you get paid 2:1.
Dozen Bet - You can bet on a group of twelve numbers by placing your chip in one of the three boxes marked "1st 12," "2nd 12," or "3rd 12." If one of your 12 numbers is hit, you are paid 2:1; 0 and 00 are losing numbers.
Even-Money Bets - Red/Black, Even/Odd, Low/High Bets - You can place a bet in one of the boxes on the left side of the table that covers half of the roulette table numbers (excluding the 0). Each box covers 18 numbers. You win even money (1 to 1) on all of these bets.
